BARANGAY LOOC PICKLEBALL COMMUNITY CLUB
OPEN PLAY RULES & MECHANICS
Effective Date: August 2026
Venue: Looc Covered Gym
I. ELIGIBILITY
The Barangay Looc Pickleball Community Club is established to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among Loocanon residents.
✅ Exclusive for bona fide residents of Barangay Looc only.
All participants must comply with the following:
Must be a resident of Barangay Looc.
Must undergo Barangay Player Profiling before participating.
Must sign the attendance log before entering the court.
II. BARANGAY PROFILING REQUIREMENT
To maintain an organized and safe community sports program, every player is required to complete the official Barangay Player Profiling Form.
Beginning August 25, 2026, all players shall be required to present their Official Barangay Looc ID before entering the playing area.
STRICT IMPLEMENTATION STARTS AUGUST 25, 2026.
Failure to present a valid Barangay ID shall result in denial of entry for the day.
III. EQUIPMENT & ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS
For the safety of all participants, each player shall provide and wear the following:
Required Equipment
✅ Personal Pickleball Paddle (required for Open Play stacking)
Required Attire
✅ Complete sports attire or athletic uniform suitable for physical activity
✅ Proper non-marking athletic shoes or pickleball/training shoes with good traction
The following are not allowed inside the playing court:
Slippers or sandals
Barefoot play
Hard-soled footwear that may damage the court surface
Clothing deemed unsafe or inappropriate for sports activities
Players who fail to comply with the required equipment and attire may be denied entry to the playing court for safety reasons.
IV. OPEN PLAY SCHEDULE

🕖 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM

V. OPEN PLAY MECHANICS (STACKING SYSTEM)
To ensure fairness and maximize court usage, the following Open Play System shall be observed:
1. Open Play Format
Open Play is open to all eligible Loocanon players.
Three (3) courts shall operate under the Open Play Stacking System.
2. Paddle Stacking
Players shall place their paddles in the designated Paddle Rack/Stacking Area.
The next four (4) paddles in line become the next players to occupy the court.
3. Rotation
Winners remain on the court for one (1) additional game only.
After winning two (2) consecutive games, players must voluntarily rotate out to give others an opportunity to play.
Losing team exits after every game.
(Alternative if preferred: "Winner stays one game only" for faster rotation.)
4. Game Format
Games are played to 11 points, win by 2.
Rally scoring or traditional scoring may be used depending on the Court Marshal's announcement.
5. Court Assignment
The Court Marshal or assigned volunteer has the final authority in assigning players to available courts.
No player may reserve courts during Open Play.
VI. PLAYER CONDUCT
All participants are expected to:
Show respect to fellow players.
Observe good sportsmanship.
Avoid foul language and unsportsmanlike behavior.
Follow instructions of the Court Marshal and Barangay Sports Committee.
Keep the playing area clean.
Dispose of trash properly.
No smoking, vaping, or drinking alcoholic beverages inside the playing area.
VII. SAFETY
Players participate at their own risk.
Participants are encouraged to:
Perform proper warm-up exercises.
Stay hydrated.
Stop playing immediately if feeling dizzy or unwell.
The Barangay shall not be liable for injuries resulting from negligence or failure to observe safety precautions.
VIII. DISCIPLINARY ACTION
The Barangay Sports Committee may issue:
Verbal Warning
Suspension from Open Play
Temporary Ban
Permanent Disqualification for repeated violations, misconduct, falsification of residency, or failure to comply with Barangay regulations.
IX. CLUB OBJECTIVE
The Barangay Looc Pickleball Community Club aims to promote:
